in 1994, ITS specialises in the provision of shipping-based
training, qualifications and consultancy.
Believing
that high quality training is essential, and recognising that
everyone's needs are different, ITS offers a wide range of
courses and qualifications to accommodate various learning
preferences, styles and situations.
As
well as offering nationally-certificated qualifications, ITS
works with the shipping industry's professional organisations
- the Worshipful Company of World Traders and the British
International Freight Association - to offer, for example,
courses to cover the legislative requirement for dangerous
goods training.
ITS's
training centres are all located centrally, which include
Cliff House in Felixstowe - which is just five minutes' walk
from Felixstowe Town Centre and the Port of Liverpool Building,
near the famous Liver Building, in Liverpool.
ITS
is an accredited examinations centre for the following examinations
boards/professional bodies:
